Random thoughts (5/27)

There is the death of a good person whom I considered a big brother. It was a shocking feat knowing he passed away but seeing Him at the coffin has again brought me to that realization that, hey, we will all go eventually.

There are people I meet unexpectedly too and it's great. Still in the end, we can only give the best of what we have for the moment because as the tides of life flow we will also certainly go on without them.

Ahhh, on a rainy day like this, I can only think of life's impermanence.

Namaste!

Yes, He is the American Idol !

I  was a big fan since the audition days. Just his authenticity alone has swept me off my feet. An artist without pretense. An earthy kind of soul. Simply raw.Very much unaffected with all the frills and stuff.Who cares if he doesnt reach the highest notes or sing gaga. He is just Phillip Phillips  and America loves him for that. ohh wait, i am not an American but I love him for the artist and the person that he is.

This song proves something beyond description. You're really going home to your success dear.
CONGRATULATIONS! You deserve it!

Rest in Peace Robin Gibb

Death is such a bittersweet thing. It is and it will always be. Nonetheless, we need to just accept the fact that all of us will leave this impermanent abode. How well we live our lives is just as significant as how we touch other people's lives. I guess this  matters in the end.

One inspiring soul has finally left this material earth. It is certainly a big loss as he has made a great difference by living a life that has inspired so many passers by. His voice, as well as that of his siblings, moved a lot of people and that includes me.

The tenderness of his voice and the gentleness of his words put into music will be remembered for as long as I live. Someday, I will perish too. Will there be many who will remember me like this? Have i done enough to inspire others?

Thank you Robin. Your life and death have touched me so much. Rest in Peace.

Phillip Phillips - Volcano

This is an out of this world performance of my favorite American Idol contestant this season. I haven't actually heard the song before but with Phillip's rendition it seemed like I have been listening to  it  the  whole time. I love the sensitivity he has attached to his performance and to quote Jlo, it was just "poignant."

More than this piece of art, Phil Phillips has always been awesome. His voice speaks so much of his passion for music. I love his unique and youthful radicalism. His fearlessness has added up to his charm. Just like my previous favorites, I am very certain this guy will  go places.

He's now making it to the top 3 and whatever happens, he is my American Idol for this year. Need i say more? :)

Sail on Phil Phillips. You're doing a very great job!
